Esa colección era un show para mi proyecto final en la universidad. Contiene veintitrés grabados en el estilo “monotype”, donde cuento la historia del fallecimiento de mi papi.

The mint green and white backgrounds resemble the color of medical gowns, and the color of walls found in medical facilities — simple, and annoyingly calm. This shade of green carries a lot of weight. In this collection, I tell the story of three births, doctor visits, treatments, and death, but also the love, strength and growth that accompanied these stories.

Los fondos verdes y blancos se parecen a los colores que llevan las batas médicas y los paredes en los hospitales. El tono de verde pesa mucho en esa historia. Cuento historias de tres nacimientos, unas visitas al doctor, tratamientos, y fallecimiento. Además cuento del amor, fuerza y el crecimiento que lo ha acompañado.
